Black Bull

The Black Bull, by far Yarms most well known and popular pub. The favourite haunt of the rich and famous, home of the beautiful
people.(Or is that “The Hide” now!)

A huge pub split into different areas with 3 bars (1 in the beer garden) this pub has by far the best beer garden of any of yarms pubs.Part of the beer garden is covered by a huge glass canopy with space heaters and so is popular even in the middle of winter (unless its windy cos it gets f*%$ing freezing)

Due to its immense popularity the pub does get overcrowded on weekends and you can expect to queue to get in on Friday evenings although The Hide has taken some of it's regular trade which does seem to have eased the queues. The Bull is one of the only pubs that you can expect to be busy every night of the week.

Drawbacks – no big screen no music, large queues and the irritating gets who know the door staff and wont queue.
