Ketton ox

The Ketton Ox underwent a major refurbishment in 1999 and was extended although it still suffers from a major bottle-neck at the bar.
This is another meeting place for people starting a night out in Yarm

The pub does reasonable bar meals through the day and has a 'Curry Night' every Wednesday with a curry and a pint for £4.99

Tuesday night is disco night. Thursday nights is definately worth a visit with selected beers and lagers only £1.25 per pint.
There is a lot of wasted space with a large cobbled courtyard leading to the toilets. The toilets however are probably the best pub bogs in yarm & are huge.

The Ketton Ox has the best selection of draught lagers, beers and ciders in the whole of Yarm and as with all of the other pubs it does get busy on a weekend evening.

Quiz nights are on a Sunday & Monday evenings.

Drawbacks – No big screen, no beergarden, bar is to close to entrance and causes a bottle neck
Plusses – good bogs, cheap beer night, good meeting place
