The Town Hall

Yarm Town Hall is probably the most instantly recognizable building in Yarm, standing as it does in the centre of the High Street. The building dates from the early 1700s when a toll booth was demolished to make way for the present building.

The Town Hall has always been the focal point for important events in Yarm. This may be extended as plans are being considered to turn the Town Hall into a visitors centre showing the history of the town.
